Seat Recliner Motor — Front

Removal and Installation
NOTE:
Driver seat shown, passenger seat similar.
NOTE:
Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
- Remove the front seat. Refer to
Seat — Front
.
- Tighten bolt to 5 Nm (44lb-in).
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- If equipped with memory seats, operate the recliner motor in both directions to set the soft stops.
- Operate the recliner motor in one direction until it stops. Press the switch a second time in the same direction and hold for one second to set the soft stop.
- Repeat the steps for the recliner motor in the opposite direction to set the remaining soft stop.
- General Equipment: Hog Ring Pliers.
