REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

Instrument Panel Finish Panel — Center

Removal and Installation

  1. Apply the parking brake.
  1. Place the selector lever in the NEUTRAL position.
  1. Remove the selector lever trim ring.
  1. Remove the floor console finish panel.
    1. Lift upward and open the storage compartment lid.
    1. Lift the floor console finish panel upward to release the retaining clips.
    1. If equipped, disconnect the electrical connector.
  1. Position aside the LH and RH floor console trim panels.
    1. Pull the middle and rear of the LH and RH floor console trim panels outward to release the retaining clips.
    1. Pull the front of the LH and RH floor console trim panels downward to detach the trim panel from the pin-type retainers.
  1. Remove the RH instrument panel finish panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Finish Panel — RH .

  1. NOTE: 7 speaker system shown, other systems similar.

    Remove the 6 center instrument panel finish panel screws and remove the center instrument panel finish panel.
    1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
