Liftgate Latch

Power Liftgate

Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the liftgate trim panel. For additional information, refer to Section 501-05 .
  1. Disconnect the liftgate latch electrical connector.
  1. Remove the 3 (manual) or 4 (power) liftgate latch bolts and the liftgate latch.
  1. If necessary, remove the 2 bolts and the liftgate latch striker.
  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
