Removal and Installation

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

  1. NOTICE: A new PCV valve must be installed if removed from the valve cover. Damage will occur to the locking mechanism on the PCV valve.

    Minor component movement CCW . Discard the specified component. Follow local disposal regulations.
  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure. Apply the specified lubricant to the specified component.
