REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

Variable Camshaft Timing (VCT) Oil Control Solenoid — 3.5L Ti-VCT
Removal
NOTE:
Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
Remove the LH or RH valve cover. For additional information, refer to
Section 303-01A
.
To install, tighten in 2 stages.
Stage 1: Tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb-in).
Stage 2: Tighten an additional 20 degrees.
Installation
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
