Steering Column Motor

Removal and Installation

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

  1. Remove the steering column shrouds. Refer to Steering Column Shroud .
  1. Remove the 2 screws, detach the in-vehicle temperature sensor and hose assembly (if equipped) and remove the steering column opening trim panel.
  1. Disconnect the steering column tilt motor electrical connector.
  1. Remove the 2 steering column tilt motor screws and the steering column tilt motor.
  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
