REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

Seat Cushion Heater Mat — Second Row, 40 Percent

Removal

NOTICE: The heater mat is not designed to be separated from the foam pad. Doing so will damage the foam pad. Install a new foam pad and heater mat. Failure to follow this instruction can result in seat component damage and system failure.

NOTE: Always install a new cushion foam pad and new cushion heater mat together.

  1. Remove the cushion trim cover. For additional information, refer to Seat Cushion Cover — Second Row, 40 Percent in this section.
  1. Lift the cushion foam pad away from the cushion frame and disconnect the cushion heater mat. Discard the cushion foam pad and heater mat.

Installation

  1. Position a new cushion foam pad with a heater mat onto the cushion frame.
  1. Connect the cushion heater mat electrical connector.
