REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

Universal Serial Bus (USB) Cable and Port

Removal and Installation

Upper cable

  1. Remove the Accessory Protocol Interface Module (APIM). Refer to Accessory Protocol Interface Module (APIM) .
  1. Disconnect the upper Universal Serial Bus (USB) cable from the lower USB cable at the lower RH front of the floor console.
  1. Remove the upper USB cable following the routing shown.

Lower cable

  1. Remove the front floor console. Refer to Section 501-12 .
  1. Remove the media hub.
  1. Remove the lower USB cable following the routing shown.

Both cables

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
